How fascinating and such a wonderful insight into motorcycling in the 1950's.

Loved the motorcycling gear and the story of the speedo change on the ducati :shock:

Saved it in my "favourites" too. He isnt far wrong when he says "The Franz Jospeph Glacier in 1953, several miles of ice. Today with global warming it has probably shrunk to the point that it will fit in a nice glass of whisky" Massive difference when we were there in August.

What a brilliant posting.

Tell you what, Grandpop mustta being loaded, aren't they good qualilty photos, mustta being some big mutha camera!!

Thing that I liked about this set photos, there all happy snaps, friendly and made me smile, not like todays lot, agro, undesireables, always burning something.....
