nice little addition to the ltd project cheers paul

Toast racks? NO NO NO NO gave mine away that were on my Zthou when i got it.

Its other folks stuff that are getting in the way :lol: but im taking a leaf out of uk kevs book, " an hour a day every day "

Got me frame and a few other bits back from powder coaters today cracking job post some pics tomorrow.
But like most j type motor frames after it was blasted it showed up a lot of corrosion and rot which had to be repaired which was carried at griff's motorcycle services first class job.

the yellow mark on the bracket must be the flash off the camera or summat

what acid are you using in your dechrome do you also use an additive ?.

Busted there kev caught red handed so to speak.
96% proof sulphuric acid/water and glycerol cant remember the exact make up off the top of me head got ot written down though
works very well though about 4 volts and 20 amps

These are the wheels im going to use bought them of forum member dark skies, plan is to powder coat hubs satin black and anodise the rims maybe gold and rebuild with stainless spokes.

Think this is the reason for the head gasket leaking.
I know its just after 4am insomnias a terrible thing but good for getting stuff done in the garage.

Out of interest, is a tailpiece transplant straightforward on the 900/1000 models when changing from LTD style. It meant welding brackets on my 650.
