My project bike which was going to be a classic racer but I have had a change of plan and dont want to build a bike following the rule book anymore, so will put something together thats different to anything I have done before :D

Personally I think it would look better with a different tail unit and the LTD tank.

But that's only my choice :lol:

Thank you all, the swing arm is a GPz1100 unitrak arm modified with ends machined to take the stock Z1000 chain adjusters, ignition switch has been re located to behind the head stock and in front of the horn, next job is the rear sets

Nosher got to agree with rpeters that looks shite! You could make your "trophy winning" Z1b look like that.. :D but if it were me I'd make it a Racecrafters Replica not a Flat tracker after all it is a Superbike not a dirt bike

Steve, I've had one of those Zed-butt seats knocking around for ages and I keep planning on using it. Trouble is, each time I do a mock up with it, it just doesn't look right. I've come to the conclusion that the front end is the problem, ie the big lip that is moulded into it. I think if this is removed leaving just the side mouldings it would look a lot better as the tail section is quite nice.

Just my thoughts :roll:
