Don't think these nylon barrels are available! I must admit I've had no success with the refurbishment of these early fuel cocks, Z1 thru to Z1000-A1.

The tap on my '73 was leaking when i first started to use it.I stripped it down and soaked the black barrel rubber in cellulose thinners for an hour. This swelled it slightly.I put it back together and its been perfect since.
I know this doesn't help you but maybe of help to others with the early petcock. :D

I've had success with Z1A (same as Z1) A4 and Z1R taps.

amercianclassix and Sudco used to do the rubber sleeve for Z1/Z1A but had quality issues, I think the issue was not prepared before fitting as I was advised by a forum member (can't recall name) to soak sleeve in petrol for 2 days worked a treat, also o ring on shaft must be good fit as I,ve had dodggy ones supplied.
