ive found that the last owner of my z1000 bogjed the atu to the crank the pin that goes in to the crank and sticks out a bit for the atu to locate has been snaped . and stuck on with some kind of selent . ive got the atu off but now need to drill out whats left of the pin . its laughing at the drills i have what would you recomend to drill it out ? ive been looking at HPD Drills

there fairly exspenive but as long as they do the job i dont care .

a carbide tipped drill would be your best drilling option

it's only push fit pin, you'll probably find it's been glued in, take the ignition cover off and try warming the end of the crank with a blowlamp.
