PJ1 has worked well for me, some of the boys here also rate Sperex.

I used Holts Underseal once.

It was a total nightmare trying to get the brush in between the cooling fins.

I done the next one with Bodyschutz, far better spraying than brushing.

I've always fancied the "Crinkle" look you get with the paint for MGB dash panels.

i have allays used wurth high temp matt black + found it to be the closest match for the original paint not cheap but the best never is. this is the engine painted in the very same paint

PJ1 works well and it quite forgiving
