Steve - puller worked a treat. Popped off with minimal effort. Just goes to show how easy things are with the right tools. It will be in the post to you on Monday or Tuesday. Many thanks for the loan.

No heat required. Just quarter turn on the puller and it let go easily. Now I need to sort a replacement solution. West Country Windings here I come...
