Repairs
So who can recommend someone for bodywork repairs?
I've found somewhere that might be able to repair the front dymag (it's slighty out of true) and check the forks/yokes, but need someone who can repair the tank and mudguard. The 1100R mudguard is unique to that bike so chances of getting another are highly unlikely and want to keep the tank as I had it cut open and blasted/relined only last winter.
The faring was wrecked but it was a Skimarx one so would like to get the original repaired (damaged when I dropped the bike in the garage).
Spoke to Ray at Debben and I'll get him to strip the engine over the winter and check the crank.
Turned out my thumb was broken (hand now in plaster) along with a toe - though it's the unbroken toes that hurt the most.
Also twisted my knee quite badly but not bad going for a 60mph+ head on impact.
Had to cancel the trip to Germany. And all that time learning German - ich mochte ein bier bitte. I'll keep at it though in case I decide to go the German Rally next year.

Got my A MOT`d this afternoon and on the way home came around a bend to find some carrion in the road.
The Magpies cleared pretty darn quickly. The Red Kite however left it to the last second and I sunk my head into my shoulders.
Missed it by inches. They only weigh 2 kilos but the 6 foot wingspan covering my visor meant a change of underwear was in order when I got home
It could happen to any of us.................
