I'd like to be there but had my thumb wired together in the week so can't even drive let alone ride and my wife has chauffeured me around too much this week as it is. And obviously the bike is in no state to ride after the encounter with the deer. Sod's law my freezer packed up that weekend so nowhere to store all that fresh venison!
The 1100 won't be on the road til next year now, though hope to be riding my non Kawaskai by early/mid September.
Guy, dropped my tank/mudguard/fairing off at Revolution Paintwork. Coincidentally I had phoned him just before I saw your suggestion on my crash posting. Saw some of his work and it looks really good, so on the plus side my tank should look better than before as the paint job on it was pretty poor.
Had the Dymag trued by ST Motorcycle Engineers and will send off my forks and yokes for checking when my hand is good enough to do more work.
Big job will be the engine strip down to check the crank. Mr Debben will love me - I'd only done 3000 miles since he completely rebuilt it!
Perhaps I'll ask him to put a 1428 big block on! Probably not a good idea though as I intend to use it for continental trips and it was running perfectly anyway.
Hope to see you all in September.
Brian
