PROTECTIVE COATING FOR TIRED OLD MUFFLERS

#1 PostAuthor: MaineKZ » Tue Apr 24, 2007 10:19 am

So I've managed to put together an original 4 into 2 system for my KZ1000 but I'm thinking it'd be good to try coat the muffler innards with some gloopy oily old stuff that'd delay them from rotting.
Any recommendations/ideas?? I thought Castrol R might smell good :D Waxoil will probably catch fire  - I'm sure there's something just right out there.........

I'd pour 2 stroke oil down the pipes then fire it up and let the excess burn off.
