Can anyone recommend a specific paint product for renovating black clock covers?
Also, I need to get into one of my clocks to remove some marks on the inside of the glass.
This doesn't look easy due to the sealing ring, any help on this front would also be appreciated.

Paint For Clock Covers

It isn't easy you can get the rings off with a bit of delicate prising but it's very hard to get them on again without it looking like they've been off. As twozeds says it might be easier too give Chris a call and see if he'll quote you for just painting and re-assembling with the glass cleaned. He has special equipment and rings.
