Engine flushing oils
Whats the members views on engine flushing oils ?
Pasc, I got some a few years ago, but never got round to using it.
Some people just warm the engine, empty old oil, then top up with cheapo Woolworth stuff and run for 5/10 mins, ditch that, then refill with the good stuff.
Why you need to flush, or is it just coz you fancy giving it a go

Cheers guys, Mr Pigford, I did give it a go a couple of years ago on one of my turbos. Haven't a clue how effective it was. The reason I ask is after removing the cams from my 1000j I found 6 scored cam bearings and scored cam journals so thought I'd see what the general concensus was here before trying it out again.
