Which way round

Got some new exhaust gaskets from zpower copper ones
never has these before, always had the fiber ones so which round do they go in?
is it the flat edge to the cylinder head or the beveled edge.

and am i right in saying i read something about heating them up firstImage

I put them crimp edge to head but will stand correcting.
Only need heating if you are re-using old ones.

In my experience Mikey it makes no difference which way round they go.

I put them flat to the head with a bit of grease on them to hold them in place. They are filled with fibre rope (used to be asbestos) and heating them won't do much good - exhaust sealer paste does :wink: re-tighten after 50 miles when the engine has cooled down.
