#1 PostAuthor: marve114 » Thu Feb 18, 2010 7:41 pm

hi guys i know i ask alot of questions but you guys are full of wisdom
to take my mind off the carbs for a while i decided to fit the geepers gpz1100 rear wheel into my j

any hows i knocked the tyre off the hidious bright yellow standard wheel went to fit it 120/90-18 and it fell straight over the gpz wheel

scratching my head for a few minutes :??

had a look around the wheel ive seen 17 3.00

is this a rare wheel i have got :?:

what tyre will safely go on this rim being its only 3.00 wide and a 17"

let me know your veiws guys
im very intrested

Gpz1100 uni-trak runs a 3.00 x 17" rim,
GPz750 uni-trak & Turbo run a 3.00 x 18" rim.
Z1000 J1/J2 run a 2.15 x 18" rim
Z1000 J3/R2,Z1100R1 and GPz1100 B1/B2 run 2.50 x 18" rim

You'll be needing a 17" tyre for your 17" rim

what size tyre you think 130/80-17 ?

i may just get a gpz750 rear wheel and change the bearings (done this before)
as i can get a nice wheel for for less than £30.00
