Picked up me wheels from Reality Motorworks (Griffs) this week & had some new tyres fitted. I feel a bit unfaithful, as Mikey didn't do the polishing  It was done by Reality motorworks' in house polisher, who I believe mentored Mikey, many moons ago!

I have been searching for a mudguard to fit the hayabusa forks I currently have fitted, but it seems because of the mounts, I will only be able to fit one of those big 'jelly mould' things, which will look shite. So I am now thinking about fitting a set of ZX9R USD forks instead. The wheel & spindle should fit without any alteration. It's just the calipers I will need to sort out. I am trying to source some 'adapter' plates, that will let me fit my Tokico 6 pots to the ZX9R forks,

Or you could trim the busa guard down, possibly a tl1000 guard might fit.[/img]Image

Okay, I now have a large selection of front mudguards
I have tried a TL1000 & a GSXR1000K1, but because of the mudguard mounts on the Busa forks, they wont fit.
I have had a result though, I got hold of an XJR1300 front mudguard (thanks Zed1015). With some bracket modification it will fit & look a treat :D :D

Bit more progress, I managed to source two replacement frames (Just like buses, nothing for ages, then two come along at once  ) I have removed the footrest hangers for starters, no choice really as they foul the swinger I plan to use.

I also cut off that silly bit of sticky out tube, filled the hole with weld & ground it all smooth :D

Now I needed to sort something out to hang my rearsets on. I turned down some 5/8th bar, then drilled & tapped an M10 thread through the centre. Next thing was to cut some holes in the frame to fit these inserts.
Studding is only temporary to hold it all straight until it is welded.
They will be TIG welded by 'Griffs' as I can't trust meself to do a tidy job

Zorst headers also came along two at a time. I picked both set's up at Stoneleigh, thanks to Phil Churchett & Skoda. I have decided to use the set from Phil, believed to be S&S from an earlier thread. They came with a silencer, but that won't suit this bike. I won a small Kerker end can on ebay (Typically fitted to cruiser type bikes) & have asked Exhaust Craft to make me a link pipe to marry it all together (not the one pictured). I plan to have the down pipes ceramically coated (black) by Camcoat. I haven't decided what to do with the can yet, it will either be polished to within an inch of it's life, by our very own Mikey, or powdercoated black to match the rest of the exhaust.

j.b. I spoke to Camcoat at Stafford last year, cost will be the best part of £200. I will post full details when it's done, hopefully the pipes will last a lifetime once done.
