Z900 grab rail will it fit the Z1R

Has anyone tried to fit a Z900 grab rail to a Z1R.

The mounting points will fit - not sure about the clearance over the seat/tail area.

The Z1R grab handles fit on the Z1/Kz900's.
73 Z1 (turbocharged), a 74 Z1A, and some h***a's and Suzuki's...

i think z900ltd grabrail is higher over the tail so if you have a prob with yours one of those might fit.
i have the ltd rail on my bike and it is higher than others.

Padders,

This is a specially made grab rail for the Z1R. I think some german guy made it. I think (not sure) the bike owner has the contact info. If you want me to, I'll find out.

Yes please Stale if you could. Just about to go for a spin with the missis on the back and would feel better if she had a grab rail. Joanne is fine for normal riding but if I had to make an emergency stop she has nothing to brace herself with.

Got a reply. The guy is apparantly danish. He just made two grab rails for the Z1-R, but was talking about making more to sell. Contact him through his site http://www.z-kawa.dk/
