South West First Meeting of 2010

#1 PostAuthor: RALPHARAMA » Wed Dec 16, 2009 6:55 pm

Bin talking to the destinctly not ginger, Ginger Bear today and it was suggested that we should have a meet soon.

I think it is unreasonable to expect folk to drag their beloved Zeds out in the shitty weather so I am suggesting that we have a meet mid January, with the expectation that if it's nice we'll bring our bikes, but if it's traditional Z1 SW meeting weather, we'll ride less valuable bike or even four wheels. I certainly don't want the Old Gurl covered in salt

Can I intially suggest the Sunday 17th of January 2010 ... far enough away to give Piglet the time to iron some browny points eh?

Let us know what yers think :D

ERR........... Might not be able to make this now

Sorry Ralph, My diary has been re-sheduled to visit My South East inlaws, this was sheduled to happen before Chrimbo, but was postponed due to the bad weather.
Not all bad though, I have arranged to hook up with 'another member' while I'm over that way to pick up some goodies for my current project.
I do plan to be at 'Stoneleigh' the weekend after & I am thinking of 'staying over', just to be sociable & have a few beers :D if you know what I mean!! :beer2

Barf and Vest - CB, Jak, Alison and my bad self tend to mosey along to that anyway. Think it would be better to have our mettings at the Wagon and Horses as they have some pukka tukka and we can sit down fer a proper feast  The Cornish PAsties are usually my unhealthy choice at the Barf & Vest - they are pretty good, though CB doesn't share my enthusiasm for 'em

Why don't we have a meet Sunday 7th February at the Wagon and 'orses, then there's no rooles that say we can't meet at the Barf 'n' Vest as well :D

Ralph

Both dates sound good. The Bath and West is a good start to the biking calendar and it will be good to get out and about. The roads are actually dry today so I'm off out to fire up the ole zed for a little outing. Roll on summer.......
