Has anyone repainted a Z1000 ST E1,the red one,as i need some colour codes as close to the original shades.The last time i had one of these was 23yrs ago and was wanting to paint this one the same colour

Hi,

I've got mine painted by L?blein here in Germany.
I bought the decor set from a guy who reproduced it
and sent it to the painter man, who did a very good
(but also expensive) job !!

I can send you pic's of my bike and other information, if

Great bikes ,too heavy,too tall(for me)too heavy on fuel and didnt handle to good,just about forgot nothing off any other Zed fits it,other than that i think it was a great bike :wink:

Shaft drive so no chain adjustment on long trips err no chain adjustment err!
86 Z1100R x 2, z7/11r, ZRX400, Z1000B2, ,ZRX1100C4 & Z1000J3.

Hi Ian,

now I remember you. In fact the ST iyou saw at Andy
was only my daily runner. My original one which I own
since 1981 has been repainted in the colour like the pic
above.
