ah, now it becomes clear to me what 'Frankensteins daughter' is. a friend of mine in Dusseldorf every time we speak he always says to me 'how's Frankensteins daughter'. i always say fine what are talking about? he then says the bike!

Great story. Some lovely roads and villages in France. Always used to use the Autoroutes but now take the scenic route. Takes much longer but you get to see the "real France" instead of trucks and mad car drivers !
