Z1000J GPz1100 Frame
Before I get started on my next little project, I thought it might be worth trying to source a better frame than I have at the moment. This frame needs a V5 (£25.00) and this mess sorting out. Just thought it might be a better option to start with a good frame, before I start chucking time & money at this one!

Rest of the bike is very good, been pulling it apart tonight. Everything is well greased & pretty much corrosion free.
This is I believe a common fault on the Z1000J. I think what must happen is water gets into the frame, then when it's parked on it's side stand, the water runs to the lowest point, then rots from the inside out

Z1000J frame
Hi, I have a good Z1000J frame complete with V5. The only thing that needs doing to it is the front engine mount needs re-fitting. I intended to fit an earlier engine, so had the front mount (where the rubber mounting fits) cut off and welded back on at the rear to form an extra engine mount there. Should be pretty straightforward to move it back if you can weld! You can have it for £100, but no idea how to send it!
I work at Heathrow if you can collect?
