Anybody recommend a good paintshop?

#1 PostAuthor: coldsummer » Thu Oct 15, 2009 8:28 pm

Prefer somewhere local to Bristol/South West. Needs to be familiar with Zed schemes, design rather than colour, and be able to replicate the design exactly. I wonder if there are any templates available?

I would be prepared to post it if that was the best option.

Appreciate any advice as always, cheers...

I spoke to a very helpful guy today at The Image works (not Graham) and he quoted me £35 +£3 postage for a set of Z1A decals.

Thanks Jack, but I'm not sure that would be any good for me as I'm planning my own colours but in the Z1 style?

Unless I am missing the point and they could be used as a template for the painters so they get the pattern right, I suppose that could work?

The Image Works can supply decals in pretty much any colour/design that you'd like.

That's interesting.. Wonder if they look as good as paint? Presume they can be clearcoated? I might give them a call and see what they say... Cheers Jack
