Zorded, thanks for that valuable info about the shim and the crankshaft pin. I never known, whether to discard that shim, when fitting a DynaS, or look at the length of pin!
For Zed1015, I have had a set of coils that tested OK, except that when the unusual check of testing for a reading between the primary and secondary indicated some breakdown in insulation between the two, on one of the coils.... Very erratic symptom.

they have a reputation for playing up after the battery has been on charge ,not sure if still connect to the bike or not ,my mate has had quite a few returns and hence wont sell them any more
