ralph,

my personal opinion here.

with £40-£50 in petrol, £50 for B&B, £20+ on beer etc another £10 on the ticket price for a band thay plays what we want to listen to is ok by me.

If not then i'd vote for the Ipod option.

The young guns we had this year didn't do it for me.

I was waiting for someone else to say it for me.

Agree with Chrisu.

Ralph, you use Snap-On spanners. Why not Halfords when they do the same job :D

I go for the `70s band option.

I'll second that - extra few quid for a decent(ish) local band - failing that go with the ipod.

We did consider the Twisted Oak, but Ralph seemed to think it was rather too far South West and although we are the SW "branch" we have lots of guys who come from the South East and Midlands who may be put off coming if we move that far SW.

I've heard the Twisted Oak is a bit of a "spit & sawdust" venue :?: But only what I've heard 3rd hand

Kareoke does NOT appeal to be honest :?? But I may well be in the minority
