oil and fuel
What is the best oil for a z1b and which fuel is best, I have been using the cheaper unleaded, does it make a difference ?..any advice appreciated

from what ive read on here these bikes were made to run on the low spec, low grade petrol, unless you have a tuned up motor the cheap stuff is good. the other thing ive read is dont mix mineral oil with synthetic oil.

Castrol GTX is very popular here - and is a tried and tested product
I personally use Halfords Semi Synthetic Oil and Standard 95 Octane fuel.
With a standard Z, - If you use the higher octane fuels (eg Total Excellium/BP Ultimate/ Shell Optimax) - it will not do any harm, except possibly to your wallet !!
