Local Classic Bike Meet.

There is a meet for classic bike enthusiasts, held at a local garden centre on wednesday mornings. Most of the guys are retired and turn up on a wide variety of bikes, [mostly brit]. Unfortunately, whilst i was tucking in to a "full english", some of the more interesting bikes were ridden away, including a Vincent and a 1930's Velo.

Hi Phill, i saw that Z1A about a month ago at our local car & bike night, i remember it for the KKK reg looked very tidy. Didnt get to meet the owner though, is he a club member

Phil, what's the little circular thing on the tailpiece ? Something for an alarm ?

Wasn't there a heavily customised 900 with a KKK plate in the club a few years back ? Seem to remember seeing photos

Chris, spoke to the owner of the Z1A, he had only just bought it. I had seen it before, like you, recognised the reg no. He did say he was a member of the VJMC :evil:

Dave, i think you are right, it was for some type of alarm. Can't remember the other bike you mentioned.
Mick, as my mate had already ordered me a breakfast, [and paid for it], i didn't want to hurt his feelings, by not eating it :oops:

I shall no doubt get up there again in the next few weeks, will take some more pics.

KKK reg plates were available from Tunbridge Wells vehicle licensing centre when applying for an age related plate,I have one on my Z1B

Been intending to get this meeting again, but it seems the few decent Wednesdays we've had, i've been doing other things. the rest, the weather has been poor.
Apologies for the poor quality pics, most of the car park is on a slope, so it is difficult to get good shots.

Cant figure out that number plate on the BSA 650 ?
Someone has spent some time on that Suzuki to get it that good.

Cheers Dave, there are guys that travel a fair distance to meet up, including ex BSA/Truimph employees. I can honestly say, i was one of the youngest people there, the care homes must have kicked them all out!
There was a really nice original Katana 1100 there too, but i got gassing to the owner and forgot to take a pic. Modern Bonnevilles were very popular too.
