Well, some days ago i stumbled over some parts, a GPZ1100 engine with Wiseco 1260cc parts on it. Welded crank, and 36mm RS Mikuni, and some other stuff.

I think that the welded crank was the main reason for to buy the parts, but its nice with some cubic to!.

And I got an very OK deal with the preowner, a nice Viking! :P

Here is a link for the specs for the camshafts.

Is there anyone out there who got some experience with that Wiseco kit?

you will need to grind part of the foot rest mounts as the arm will touch

AAHHH!

My friend MR 531blackbanshee sent me this picture:

So my tree is done, and soon on the way over the Atlantic to me! :woohoo:

Thanks 531blackbanshee!!! :) :) :)

Ive started on the "Goldengine", installed the gearbox.
I still don't know if it will be an 1100cc or 1000cc engine.
Depends if I can find an 1000cc cylinder and pistons for an cheap price.

Because when I am starting with the Z1000R, I will use the Wiseco 1262cc kit.

This is the lately work, beside the sandblasting, it takes a lot of time sandblast off the original
painting, with this ordinary blasting sand I use.
I don't use Alu silikat, which is much sharper, because there is a health risk involved, even if you use dust mask, you have to use a fresh air mask...
Silikat is no good for your lungs.

Oki, pictures:

Ive started with two empty hands and a muffin? half?? :drool

Done! Now waiting for which crank...GPZ1100 or 1000R...

I wonder if I just should do something with the bracing on the Busa arm...What do you say, since you tried the Busa arm allready.
Isn't that bracing on the chain side the only thing that's complicates it?

it is not the bracing on the busa arm, it is the offset of the arm for the chain run. if you turn it upside down the offset is on the wrong side and too far over so the wheel will not line up. i have a busa arm and will take a pic to show you them both together. the tlr arm is the easier option but you may find a way around the problems with the busa arm. gsxr 600 srad arms fit straight in and are only £40. the earlystock boy use them.

Roy, how much do you want for the cake??
I will have to get one made up and welded to my bike.
This improves BHP? Torque?
This is a Nordic secret thats now out of the bag, and I need to know how much for inside information on what the Cake can do???
