Mmmmm, the twin spots are under review, it'll still be twins, but I need to fit my dished Cibies in them. The Triumph cases ain't big enough & just look too 'Triumph'

They also need to be mounted fairly low when fixed to the frame, so the bars will clear them. The other option is to hang them off of the forks, but having all that lot swinging about with the steering ain't exactly appealing.

As far as cleaning fuel tanks goes, I tried a couple of things, first I tried electrolysis or whatever it's called, bit of washing soda and a battery charger which did give pretty good results but you always think you can do a bit better so had a look on the net and discovered......Spirit of Salts, it's a drain cleaner that mainly comprises of hydrochloric acid (nasty).
The result? Clean as a whistle, I'd recommend it to anyone but wear gloves etc and use baking soda to neutralise the acid and make sure you put some oil in the tank straight away cos it'll start going rusty again within the hour.
