Hi,

The engine will be cleaned when its finisched and you will see the resold when its done and then I will tell you how I did it.

The pink stuff on the engine is glue and we always use this stuff and works fine.

Blasting or paint stripping an assembled engine?

There has to be a hazard of getting the chemicals / blast media where you don't want them surely.

I hope we get some detailed pictures of how this can be pulled off.

thats how we do it in Belgium and its not the first that we paint like that.

The little black stuff will be removed with cleaning products.

Then once painted you replace the bolts one at a time with nice shiney ones, did this a few times purely couldnt be arsed stripping engine down as it wasn't on anything of real value (cb550) and worked okay, even used the karcher sandblast attachment :D
