Think i've now collected most of the parts i needed - starter motor, gear change shaft, some repo switchgear & other 'odds 'n sodds.

'Ave to get me head 'in the zone' an get stuck in! :roll:

Yeh, The low-rider gets a little higher...
- well actually its not as low as i thought it would be, looked in the 'search forum' noted that Zed fork length is 780mm - measured the FZR forks - 780mm ish from top to wheel spindle (although 17" wheels so lost 2" there)

Anyhow, its finally on its wheels - yeh i know bowt time :oops:

2 things sprang to mind as i was moving it around, firstly - id forgot how dam heavy these are (fun an games moving it round the kitchen on 'jacks' before i could get the forks in, an secondly - wot 'lock' with them yolks!! 22 point turns - jeeze!

I can now get the Zorst on!

Also be able to work on putting the starter in, alternator and gear change shaft so that i can sort the rearsets gearchange rod out.

Dont think so, at least not with the present 'set up', think the only options would be to move the tank back or have some yolks made with more offset...... but for now these are staying. Gonna work with wot i've got.
I can see how these projects can spiral into money pits, where do you stop?

Thats full lock.
With the headlight brackets on theres still some clearance, so i'll live with it ...for now :roll:

Photos do lie - the tanks paint and other bodywork is 30 years old and is showing a little. The odd little chip, some light pitting on the chrome cap but its wots gonna be used, i'm not trying to build a show bike......dont know wot i am trying to build actually :roll:
