Ok iv decided i might go down the route of using my inlet manifold i had made back in the eighties and bang 40mm side draft webber carbs on my zed, easy setup with an electric fuel pump, just got to make the clearencies for the carbs, :D worked well on my 1000 so why not, good thing with that set up was even in top gear doing 40mph you could open the throttle and it was instant,

Nanno it will work as long as you can get the right setup with idle and main jets, clearence on the frame can be a little tight but can be done coz i done it on my 1000, vrooooooooooom

Jack (with the lush 650 framed Z900 Cafe Racer) spent weeks trying to get his sorted - without sucess :cry:
And on the 7th day... Zeds were created!

Adrian i first done it in 1983, worked well and looked good to, the manifold which i still have cost me £5 to have made, but that was from a mate

Puffin pictures will follow but only been out of hospital two weeks since my shoulder op, movement with my arm is restricted big time at the moment, plus i did say this project wont be rushed, but watch this space, :D
