wiring loom z1000st
Hi All, I've just got back in the fold and bought a rather tired Z1000ST, the wiring looks past it's best! All sorts of connectors and taped and cut wires etc! Does anyone know where I can get a replacement wiring loom from?
Thanks
Thanks

Be surprised if you will get one,strip off the old loom and use it as a template on a board to make a new one up..Paul J

I've just discovered this lot via this forum;
http://stores.ebay.co.uk/autostarshop/
I can report that the service is excellent.
Also used these for years;

Service is also excellent, but the 'phone manner' could do with a bit of work.

Heyup me's had same problem don't forget ours have early electronic ign so loom will be different though should be same as mk11 I replaced all the blue and red spade and bullit connectors with items from kojay electrical do spend time going through their listings, it's worth it, they also do a great laminated A5 size wiring diagram in correct colours makes life a bit easier. Get the correct connector tool as well, I cocked a couple of joints up till I bought one, remember the part that most people forget, the bit that flexes from frame to handlebars does get metal fatigue over the years, might be teaching you how to suck eggs, but been there and done it, fault findings a real teewat
