Fuel tap question Z900 A4

I have just taken the sediment bowl off the bottom of the fuel tap and the rubber seal appears to have perished, can anyone tell me if this seal should be a O ring or a flat ring.

Flat on the one i have but any fuel proof o ring should suffice...

Thanks to both of you. I will do a temporary repair so I can get out on her tomorrow (withdrawal symptoms) and order in the correct ring.
