Dyna coils - ht lead routeing
Does anyone have a photo (or advice) of Dyna coils fitted. - It is particularly the routeing of the ht leads I am interested in - Not the coils themselves as they are now on.
The best route I can see is to let the leads 'bunch up' in the headstock area (particularly the forward most pair) and then loop back 180 degrees to the top of the engine. Am I missing something - is there another way?

You should not run leads bundled together as they induce cross fire to other plugs. Crossing at 90 deg is Ok.
Dyna also advise that the secondary towers face forward.

Personally I go for the shortest route (too tight to buy lots of HT lead
) and try not to run them parallel

Ok - thanks for responses so far - the set up in the pics is nothing like mine. I have the green coils and they are mounted above the top rail
I have just taken the bike for a quick spin round the block and it seems ok. As for not running the leads together - its difficult to keep them apart as they all seem to want to converge in the same physical place.
Cheers

The the early bikes take the green ones and they go above the rails and face forward.
Rich I never had a misfire on mine and the leads were all together in there for years maybe the Dyna leads are well insulated?
