Have taken the carbs appart as far as possible so that they can be vapor blasted, but there are a couple of brass parts that cannot be removed easily.

Is it safe to have them cleaned with the brass bit still in place ?

What is the best way of removing 15 year old petrol for the other parts if i dont have an ultra sonic cleaner ?

Just soak the parts in cellulose thinners. works a treat !!

Rob I have just had my carbs ultrasonicly cleaned by Ginger Bear cost very very reasonable and a superb job I strongly recomend you pm him
its the only way to be sure they are realy clean.
They run, They break , You spend and so it goes on
