running rich?
Think me Z1000A2 running rich clean the plugs and its ok for a bit, every now and again start it up and a couple plugs get wet with petrol not oil, its running standard airbox air filter jets needle clip in standard position etc etc on 1st oversize bore done about 250 miles since rebore and recently its started to smoke on start up, just put a harris exhaust on it last week that seemed to improve things a bit, last exhaust was a made up thing between a harris and a piper, so could it be running rich? would moving the needle position improve things, never had a bike thats given me so much grief any help or suggestions very appreciated.

Mikey came round to visit just as I was typing this reply! From the description I wouldn't be surprised if the nasty NGKs he is using are causing the problem. Like my bike his tail piece tool tray came full of NGK plugs! He is going to try some Densos as a first stab at curing the problem!
