can anybody help

my gpz1100b2 is running really bad.Bike is dropping revs and spluttering as if fuel starved and having to drop it down a gear to stop it stalling ,then power will kick back in and then drop off again.ive had bike in local bike shop for last 2 weeks they've swopped ecu module, that didn't solve it and been through all obvious fuel and electrical checks.i still have original dfi unit on bike which were totally cleaned and overhauled about 18 months ago.was wanting to go to Staffordshire show on it this month.i was wanting to know if any members or if anybody knows contact numbers of any old kawa gurus in Yorkshire area who could help getting it sorted.many thanks dave.

Assume you've double checked for corroded/loose contacts throughout the DFI wiring system :?:
And on the 7th day... Zeds were created!

Did yr bike garage check fuel pressure? A mate of mine recently sorted out a z1000h running rough - that turned out to be the fuel pressure regulator.

Also, possibly, i run a b2 on carbs and have had the fuel tap partially block up in the past.

Just a suggestion, but it might match yr symptoms.

Theres a guy I have used once in murton York, a one man band in a small unit. Seemed to know his stuff and had an old z650 in he was re-building only used him for a tyre change on the Zed but after every one else had a go and gave up he had it done in 5 min and only charged a fiver.
