one of Our Members has replaced the rotor and starter clutch on His Z1000A1
but since He has done so He says there is a terrible rattle in the engine
any ideas

way too many Zeds
Could be the rotor driving the starter motor due to the wrong thickness damper fitted behind the starter gear .
Or has maybe missed out one of the bronze thrust washers or neglected to tighten the three rotor bolts fully.
