Short across the large terminals on the relay with a pair of pliers.(insulated) if the motor turns over u have a duff relay or an issue with the low control wiring to it,if it doent turn over u have no power to the large wire going to the relay ,a broken wire to the motor or a duff motor breaking down under load of something mechnical stopping it turning over,your tester insnt one of the little neon jobs by any chance ? if so deposit in bin they are useless...Cheers Paul J
