I want to check the needle position on my standard Z1000A1 carbs. Can I remove the slides without removing the carbs?, ie will 2 & 3 foul on the frame tubes?.
Also, any tips on removal/refitting of the connecting rod to get the slides out/in?.
Ta.

You can't polish a turd, but you can roll it in glitter

They are on the middle position.
Cheers Chris.....
If they are on number 2/3 then the problem is not the needles......
I'm defo thinking fuel starvation or lean/weak mix as if I l lift the choke on the flat spot the revs pick up cleanly, also the plugs are looking a little white.
