You could well be right there Rich :oops:

I do apologise Nige , i've given you bum information regarding bolt centres .
Just measured coil mounting brackets on the frame and they're 40mm between centres .
I see what you mean now that the coils must resemble a brockwurst as there is only 60mm across the framr to fit the two coils into .
In my defence the coils came in a big box with loads of ST bits :oops:

Looking at that ST picture from compo it appears to show the coils mounted outwards and not inboard of the frame rails , any ST owners confirm this ?

The tank must have a cut away to compensate for the coils if they are mounted outside.. Gonna have to relocate the coils somehow then.
