Short throttle and clutch cables & longer rear brake hos

#1 PostAuthor: Paul Whitehouse » Tue Mar 05, 2013 2:14 pm

Anybody know of a company where I can purchase some `short length` throttle and clutch cables for a Z1000 A1?....I'm running drag bars so need shorter than standard.

Also, due to the fact that my drag style `club foot` swing arm is way longer than standard but I am running a standard Z1000 rear brake cylinder assembly and calliper setup does anyone know of somewhere that would make, or I can buy, a longer length of brake hose to suit?

Cheers, Paul

Try Venhill, did me a one off rear brake hose for my special, will be using them for my fronts soon. They do throttle and clutch cables too. Crofty

I'm using drag straight bars on my z1000a2 and found z650 throttle and clutch cables were perfect.

Demon Tweeks have a 'build a line' service although im sure they buy direct off Goodridge.
Hose available in clear, carboline and black colour coating.
Fittings - Stainless or Black Stainless.

Hose length in clear (ie 425mm long) listed as SB0425CL available in 25mm increments. You'd also require the Banjo Adapters either end
Straight - SBK592-03C
20* -SBK593-03C
45* - SBK594-03C
20* side banjo adapter - SBK597-03C

+ Banjos and copper washers
Direct order tel - 01978 664474

Taken from one of there catalogues (no prices tho')
Hope this helps
