Hi All

Haven't been here fore a while as I was ill last year and didn't get to ride the Z until the end of the summer.

It has an 1105 kit, gas flowed head and 28mm carbs with a Harris pipe. It runs pretty nicely now with 130 mains although can't remember what pilots are in there 22.5's maybe. Dyna ignitiona and standard airbox.

Anyhow symptoms:

1. little flat spot just off idle makes it a pain in traffic.
2. When riding at constant speed it'll hesitate then pull, hesitate then pull almost like I am opening and closing the throttle.

On a ride up the back roads you don't notice it because you are up and down the box and not running a constant throttle.

Any ideas. I thought maybe jet up to 135's and bigger pilots. Or could it be the advance retard mechanism

thanks

Dale

fuel heights
small pilot feed hole into venturi engine side of the slide - make sure it's clear.
synchronise

I also expect the mains you have in are too big. Put your pilots back to std and play with the airscrew for highest tickover, then try 120 main jets.
