David thats the early style thats predominate across the range The one we want has the magnets in a kind of bell housing Z1bman yep that was an option as well as the rotor taper seems to be the issue only and i could have had it re-populated with magnetic material Chris the j unit reverts back to the smaller crank taper .... However it seem you only really need to know where to look

Im sorted now thanks everybody ....... Oh and another important lesson learnt and not only by myself over the years apparently
