2009 Dragon Rally

I know there are not many of you interested in this anual event however the 2009 Dragon Rally is being held in February next year in deepest darkest and probably effin freezin Wales.
Bin going on and off more or less since the early seventies and it has never failed to be a good run out and an entertaining weekend Bikes Beer & Bands.
Im goin and I know at least one other member goes cant remember who anyway heres the link to the site with details of tickets

:boom are yes keith i will be there draging my old mates once again to the rally my 20th in total on and off since76 right shit band though last year but i will be back for more might go on a xs 750 yam or just got a gsx1100 but needs some work if not the old ZED again hope to see you there comeing up from suffolk on the friaday to make a long weekend of it. cheers graham.

im doing the dragon again, after 13 years of going youd think id of leart my lesson but i keep going back year after year should be another good one, i will be on my bmw 100/7 as Zeds needs carbs sorting, if you guys spot it come over ( big blue fairing, be with gpz900r, blade and zxr4)

:boom well where to start, set off friday in snow from ipswich, a14 blocked at a1/a14 my mate paul fell off bike there and went home i went the long way in blizards up the a1 to a606 then a50 to meet mates at middlewich, later of to the limelight at crewe to see led zep band well pissed by then. off to Dragon rally on way had a bit of an arge barge with some bloke in a car at petrol station gave him a slap, by the way paul came up saturday in his car and went to rally on the back of me fool? meet more mates at betws y coed then on to the rally site attye croes race track last time i were there i was racing my old 500 velo got pissed again band this year were great old rock classics, draged myselfe out of tent not as cold as last year had belly busting brecky at bangor and all said our farwells and went our ways got back to riding in snow again at melton mowbray to a1 got home at 6 bloody cold n wet old xs750 went o.k but will use Zed next year, cheers graham. did see keiths Z1r but to pissed to find him.

What can I say first chance Ive had to put up a resum'e :roll: great weekend the ride was a breeze from Bury no snow no rain just bloody cold cant say as i liked the site :( was a bit lackin in atmosphere just like the last time we were there but the practise racin on Sat afternoon was entertainin :lol: got pissed as usual :shock: band was good but so pissed fell asleep early. :roll:
Only Z1r on the site so stuck out a bit not many other Zeds in fact only spotted a couple :wink: but lots of other interestin stuff :?: took pictures will post when I have time didnt see anybody but looks like Grahams trip was more eventfull than mine :!: :roll: all in all good do :lol:

at least the weather was good, it was warmer in anglesey than when we got back home to stoke, bring on next year
