Hi Noel, how`s it going.

A customer of mine has a contract with the RAC to move bikes around Europe.

I`m happy to ask for you.

Noel.

I spoke with the company that move bikes and they laughed when I mentioned Bodmin and Peterhead in the same sentence.

Cost for a one off collection / delivery would be prohibitive.

They sometimes bring bikes from Northern Europe and would then be coming past, so would be able to do me a deal.

Sadly nothing is planned like that yet but the situation may change. They have promised to let me know if such an oppurtunity would arise.

They did say that a bike collection service advertise on Ebay but they have no knowledge of their quality or integrity.

Sorry I haven`t got good news but always knew it would be a long shot !

As there will be a lot of people converging on Stafford shortly is it not worth putting up a post to see if anybody is within reach of Peterhead who could bring it to Stafford and then I or someone else could bring it down closer, sort of relay it to you.

the guy who bought my GPz off me used a company called Traderbike based in Newcastle to collect from near Swindon and deliver to Leeds. Apparently they shift bikes all round the country for dealers but they might take a private job. It took them a couple of abortive attempts to turn up but eventually they got here and bike ended up where it should have. No idea what it cost though.
