Lawdy Lorks My Bottoms on Fire!

#1 PostAuthor: Taffus » Thu May 22, 2008 7:26 pm

Or
Came home from work this afternoon and had a blast......Got off the bike and there was smoke coming from under the seat!

Panic ensued and I took the seat off and was relieved to find that it was not electrical but coming from the engine breather.
Ok, so I had been caning it but it begs the question, how much is too much smoke?

no worries new bike to me so I expect to have "Challenges" though my first fears were for the electrics but this was the first time I truly hammered the beast ,no pwer loss, some hesitence but not to worry given I was pushing it.

it's now pissing petrol out of the pod filter which is serously pissing off the wife
(smilar problem with my kettle and my z650)

The Old Gurl was burning oil like there was no tomorrow 1/2 - 1 litre oil to tankful of petrol! Wasn't no way I was taking her off the road before the winter!!!! Despite all the improvement to the engine, I don't think she had lost very much power for her nasty smoking habit! Just enjoy your Zed for the summer and enjoying taking her to bitz in the winter!
