Z1R Tacho cable and colour match

#1 PostAuthor: dave m » Sat Mar 15, 2008 6:48 pm

Hi,

can anybody give me some advice on the following probs.

I recently fitted a new tacho cable to my bike and it works ok but the needle moves eratic not smooth like the speedo. The tacho never worked when I got the bike as the inner cable had snapped so I cannot compare it to how well it worked before.

Also I have a couple of scratches and marks on the tank and cockpit fairing does anybody know the correct or nearest colour match or product touchup spray paint for a 78 Z1R standard silvery blue bike.

many thanks

Dave

Don't know how accurate it is, but there's a ZRX that looks close

The damping fluid will be gone in your tacho. Full refurb to fix it will be ?100 or there abouts or just live with it.
A ken fit like!
