Does anyone know the output of a Z1b generator in volts?

No, 50v means 50v.

Measuring between any of the 3 yellow cables coming out of the generator you should have 50 volts ac,yellow to yellow that it,you should have 50 v between all the pairs ,it is in essence a 3 phase generator,this is then regulated to around 14.5 v ac and then rectified to dc,you should get around 14.5 dc across your battery when bike is at around 3 thousand revs.
