Check for a 12V feed to the coils and fit some DENSO W24ES-U.
Make sure that you've got the wiring to the coils 1&4 and 2&3 the correct way round.

Ok,connectors are ok and we maybe dumping plugs for densos.
BUT...........................
The quality and the condition of the cables also contribute to good conductivity.
ie if the copper strands are dull/matt or in fact black this aint gonna help. This is when breakdown occurs.
Example
Had a bike rewired it all Ok but no fire, went to the electronic pick up,farooked just at the moulding clean wires(whats left) and solder on some fresh cable. Still no go.
Traced the fault to the starter solenoid cable is matt and black.cut it but until got some decent cable connect, press tit........
VROOM :!:
That is to say disturb old cable and it could be enough to cause breakdown. To test do a resistance check from end to the other.
Hope you get it sorted
