Z1000 MK2 parts

#1 PostAuthor: whyte25 » Fri Sep 04, 2015 9:40 pm

Hi all

I'm on the lookout for a Z1000 MK2 frame with tank / panels / seat & V5.

Does anyone have anything knocking about, or can point me in the right direction

Rgds

you would be best off putting mk2 parts or even the parts themselves in the title mate, you may miss someone with these items because it looks like you want a whole mk2 in the title.

Tail units come up on ebay (far cheaper than pattern one), I sold one recently to someone in Japan for about £30. ST ones are usually cheaper but they are slightly different, they have a recess part where the seat goes (so hidden with seat down) but they fit and are identical otherwise. Maybe not an issue if you are building a special? There are MK2 side panels at £33 each on ebay as well now. Good luck with your project, the MK2 is my fave of all. Let me know if you are stuck with a tank, I might be tempted to sell mine. Might.

Doremi sets on Fleabay now for aroun $1800 US in either the Luminous Blue or Luminous Red. They are good quality but glad I got mine when the $ was at parity and price was sub $1k

Thanks for that, I wasn't aware of the similarities. I've checked out the Z Power ones - they are a contender. If I get stuck I shall of course put a shout out on here.
